In 2016 they went to a media center type system, 16 was a kicker kmc20 and 17,18 they are using the infinity. It's nice because the brain is mounted on the amp board so you just hook everything up right there....remotes,RCA's,Aux,usb...etc.

It did come with one, but all this stereo stuff is confusing for me. To power your amps, are you coming off the battery selector switch? And is the wire in the tower good enough from the factory?

Thanks for suggestions guys. Are you guys using seperate volume controls for interior and towers? If so, what device are you using? Fixed clamp or swivels on the the tower speakers? And also, how would I run RCAs from amp board to under dash? All I can tell would be up and through the bow access. And one more thing, are Revs too much for surfing? Ive had the boat 5 days and had it out twice now. I can see more surfing than wakeboard overall now.
You would only need to run RCA's for a volume control but you don't really need one since the infinity head unit has 2 separate zone controls and separate sub control. All your your RCA connection points are going to be coming out of the brain box mounted to the black board in the port side storage where batteries are. Unscrew that board and you will have access to all your wiring. There is only one cable that runs from the box to the media screen. Did your new boat not come with the manual for the head unit?

You will want to run a 4 gauge power and ground wire straight to your amp off the battery with a fuse holder and fuse spliced into the power wire. You will run a separate remote wire to the infinity box that will tell the amps when to turn on and off. I've been running a pair of rev10s for 2 years with the factory tower speaker wire with zero problems.

Boat was on the lot, but its a '17 A20. Black metal flake and blue. So far really impressed with the wake/wave. I ordered some 750s and a 400 PnP bags that should be here today. It has surfgate and wedge. I also have some wetsounds stuff coming too. Only thing I dont like so far is the fit and finish. Outside of boat seriously needs some work. Way too many dull spots and swirls for a brand new 65k boat. Ive got a call into the dealer to hopefully resolve some issues.

Ha. Sorry. I went with a pair of icon 8’s and a htx 2. I wanted to add the PnP bags also and didnt want to spend alot of money. I can always add a second pair of icons next year if needed, but always having my two small kids on the boat, i dont see needing a really loud system. We’ll see though.
