My opinion is go SP1, then do a custom setup with 2 Rev 10s. You'll save a lot of money and still get a great system.

^^^^^^^ This!
I did SP1 on my A20 and did my own thing. Even with the 12" woofer upgrade with SP3 you won't be happy with it. I run a pair of Rev 10s powered by a Arc Audio 600.2, 6 wetsounds xs650s and a 12" JL in a sealed box under the helm powered by a wetsounds htx6. I lower my tower to get it in and out of the garage and it's very easy with the 1 pair of 10s. I got hooked up on everything but even at full price you're still way under 3k.

I'm not swole like steve. I find two pairs of icons on the tower and four board racks to be downright HEAVY and wouldn't want to be any heavier. 2 icons way almost exactly the same as 1 rev10

I ordered sound pack 3 with my 2017 t23. I originally had it priced out with sound pack 2 and figured I would get a custom box installed for the sub but for the money and the amount of time I would have invested in having this done I opted for the factory option. I like playing around with my trucks- lift kits, go fast diesel parts, etc. but on my boat I want everything to be done so we can go out and enjoy it. Price was not that bad considering what one 410 goes for.

Only downside of SP3 would be the sub box. Malibu is terrible at building them.

it's easy enough to build your own. Lots of malibu guys are using prefab boxes and waterproofing them, but I prefer to build and waterproof the box myself.

dollar wise SP3 is a good buy.

The only reason NOT to get SP3 (and I'm in this category) is if you have to fold the tower regularly. I have to fold my tower to put my boat away. I have SP2. The tower is heavy as fawk with just the icons. I cannot imagine doing it single-handed with the 410s. Pretty sure I'd kill myself.

Even with the bigger shocks the tower comes with when you order it loaded up?

Axis towers come with shocks to assist in lowering now? Since when?

Yeah I'd like to know about tower "shocks" too. Do tell!

Look at the numbers on your shocks. The factory has 3 or 4 different ones depending on how the tower is ordered. If your dealer ordered it with nothing and then loaded it up it will need the larger ones to help slow the "drop" when lowering the tower.
