I have a 2247 and picked up a 2315 second hand but never used. Would you recommend the 2315? I have a 2015 T23 with 350, mostly wakeboard but do weight it down when we surf.

If you're not weighting down when you wakeboard then I would stick with what you have. I was loading about 3600lbs plus the wedge then, gear and people with the 350 motor and it would still plane off.

Just switched my prop from the 1235 to the OJ 945. Went pretty smooth, but seems like the OJ doesn't go as far up the prop shaft as the 1235 did. It seems tight so I assume it won't be a problem, just wanted to check and see if anyone else noticed this or if you thought it would be an issue

+1 on the 2313 here.. 350 motor and tractor gears... I've ran the 1235, 2315 and 2313... 2313 seems to be the sweet spot for my T23.

I had the same experience when I installed my 985. In fact I removed and reinstalled it the first time as I thought I did not seat it correctly. Then checked to insure that it did not have extra play in it after the first 3 times we used it after that. No issues - just how the OJ mounts.

I'm only at 360' of altitude. Finally got to get it out today and do some wakeboarding and surfing. 945 had really good performance out of the hole. Very pleased with that. However, I still cannot get the boat to plane out with all the bags full and nobody behind the boat. We were going to travel to another part of the lake to get away from the crowd and surf some more, but I couldn't get over 14 mph. I only had 3 people in the boat with the wedge up and pnp ballasts of 900 in rear lockers and 650 in front. From the sounds of others on this forum they have no problem pulling wake boarders with that much weight. I know the 350 motor is nothing special, but still seems like I should be able to travel across the lake without having to dump bags. Anybody else have this experience or have any suggestions. Could there be something wrong or something else I should check out?

You either need more bow weight or less rear weight. I don't think it's so much the amount of weight your running, it's more about weight placement. If those rear 900s are filling to that you're running 2200 lbs rear and 1100 bow. Next time you're out and trying to get across the lake start dumping the rear ballast, at some point you will plane out and then you will get a better idea of how much rear weight you can actually run with that little bow weight.

I'm surprised your boat came with that prop. My 2016 A20 came with the 2249 which is 15x14.25 .105 cup and I also have the 350, the prop did ok with 2800lbs ballast but would not plane out with that weight and wedge down. I tried a 2313 15x12 .105 cup and still no go with that much weight and wedge plus the RPM'S jumped up about 300. I settled with a 2773 15x13 .105 cup. RPM'S came back down and it's much stronger than the 2249.

So you said the 2313 didn't work with that much weight even though it's a more aggressive prop? Or at least I thought it was supposed to be. It has a lower pitch than the 2773 but the cup is also more, which I wouldn't think would have made it perform worse than a higher pitched/lower cupped prop.

I just bought a new 2016 T23 w/350 and I had them put the 2419 on there. It is a rocket, unweighted, and even so with stock tanks+wedge (haven't finished my break in to add ballast) and my top end unweighted is a dismal 31mph @5300RPM, 23mph @4000RPM and 18mph @3500RPM. I'm thinking once I add ballast that this thing will be pushing 4500RPM at wakeboard speed which I know will suck gas like no other.

At this point, I'm thinking I won't lose much in RPM stepping down the the 2315, so I'm torn between the pull of 12" pitch on the 2313 and the lower RPM/more top speed with the 13" pitch 2773, but I don't know if that will be enough with 3-4k ballast. Anyone have any numbers on both these?

The 2313 worked great but my RPM's at 23mph went to 4200. I tried the 2773 and it felt really close to the 2313 but my RPM's dropped back to 3900 at 23mph. The boat would still not plane out with 3k ballast plus wedge unless you start dumping the rears. I also burned 5 more gallons of gas that day with the same setup with the 2313.

My setup.
Stock 800
Rear 550's
Flyhigh 1000lb triangle under bow cushions, prob holds 450
Sumo 450 on top of bow cushions.
100 lbs lead to move around.
