Gibbs, I have a question for you. I am coming from SP2 with the Alpine tower, sub and interior speakers. The sub was orginally mounted free air on the panel and I made a custom enclosure for it and it sounded great. On the SP3 how is the sub mounted and do you feel like it needs a enclosure also???

It's mounted on the panel under the steering wheel. It sounds good from the factory in my opinion.

It's free air and does not sound horrible... I would still get an enclosure IMO.

It's pretty weak in my opinion but an enclosure wakes it up big time.

I believe SP3 comes with a xs12 and Tim at wetsounds told me it's in a enclosure but it's not very efficient and they are working with malibu to make something better. SP2 comes with the FA-10 sub.

My A20 has the same spray date! Hopefully they get here quick! I'm in Michigan though so I bet you'll get yours first. Nice looking boat!

i guess they changed it in 16. 15 was only open air. I chucked it any how and put in an Arc 15...lol
