Yea on my old Malibu rlxi with perfect pass I ran it only on mph and it was great. My friend has a 03 wake setter that sucks on mph but is awesome on rpm. My issue with rpm is it changes based on how much weight your hauling. I had it dialed in for stock weight and it was perfect, however when I filled stock ballast i was playing with it again. I think in mph mode it takes the thinking out of it. I was just curious as to what others do.

For the Nav light, it can be replaced with an led bulb. My buddy made the change a couple years ago and its on my to do list.
