Hey Walter-
I've been emailing Tim. Looks like I'm going to have to cut a little of the footrest opening at the bottom (about an inch) to get box to fit. I took the seat out, but the top edge is catching on the black steering rail.
What did you use inbetween the box and the fiberglass to prevent rattles? I was thinking some rubber liner or foam from lowes/home depot.

I really didn't have too many clearance issues except for relocating the heater, The rear of the box hit it so I had to lower it as close to the floor as I could, I also had to remove the internal tube that the center heater outlet connected to, it was hitting the top of the box, now its connected with one hose direct to the heater, it still can come out but no one ever used it anyway, you just have to be careful and not just yank it out. It really should have been installed 6" higher up to begin with so it would clear the chillax seat. I also went to the auto parts store and got some universal weatherstrip molding that is 3/8" thick and 1" wide and put it on both sides of the box, its rattle free so far. I relocated my fire extinguisher next to the speaker like in the other pics and put the driver heater outlet just above it. I folded the driver floormat over into three layers and propped the box on that while I put it in so the carpet could just slide in and out when I clean everything. I can look under the box and see that it clears everything on the floor by about 1/2" and if I pull out the center heater duct I can feel the heater clearance is about 2". It fit but it did require patience and a little trickory.

I'd like to get ahold of some of that plastic that axis used to make the original box out of, it would be much easier to work with and not be near as heavy, that coated wood box is freaking bulky and heavy.

Thanks for the pics! In the 3rd pic, the bottom edge where the hole was cut is much more close to the floor than mine. I've got to cut mine down a bit. Gonna be a mess, but worth it. Looks awesome!

That's a great looking setup Walter. I like how the sub is recessed a bit to help with leg room. I noticed some of the boxes I have seen in that location take up all of the leg room, I'm a tall guy so I need that space! Does anybody have pictures of the factory 2012 sub enclosure installed for comparison?

I wish it would have been flush and the box tapered so I wouldn't have had to move everything, I'm 6' and with the seat moved all the way back I really never notice the footwell even being gone. Usually I just poke my toes up under the edge of the box so I know I don't accidentally kick the speaker.
