That's exactly what I was looking for Doug. Just a couple questions:
Did you end up applying glue to the cap or did you use a hollow bolt.
And did you drill holes into the metal cap then screw the light to it or did you just glue the light to the metal cap?
Kinda wish that I took the LED light off the aerial wakeboard tower that I had on my bayliner because that looks way nicer.

Superglue worked to hold it 2 years and counting. I had to drill into the tower to run the wires down the post. I did pre-drill a couple screw holes to attach the light to the previous underside of the metal cap. The LED is definitly much brighter and cleaner install. Good luck!

OK so here's the thing, I went out today and attempted it and on like the seventh attempt we actually got. Now I would like to say that I got a video but I didn't. I had the gopro on my chest but it ended dying after the first attempt. We may out may not go out and try it again to get the video.
