Maybe your speedo calibration is a little off, try speeding up to 12-13 and see if it cleans up the lip, maybe check your speed against a GPS

I know your taking SG here, but wanted to post a picture of a listed wave on my '13 A20. A SG wave should be even cleaner. I also have a poor gate from joey that I've been wanting to test out as soon as the weather cooperates.

Should the surf gate display always be showing on the screen... Even if your not using surf gate?

it should turn off when you flip the switch back to neatrual.
