IMHO - The big advantage of the mirror arm is that it doesn't interfere with the boat cover. One less thing to setup/take down every day.

If you have to fold your tower down, then the tower mirror can be a pain point. It points up in the air when the tower is folded down. So you have to remove it with an allen wrench.

I just ordered my A22 and didn't mind the tower mount. Does anyone know which mirror comes with the arm option now? It says "PTM" is this a 100 or 140?

Maybe if its a 100, I'll ditch the tower mount and go to windscreen mount 140.

I am not sure which one it is but if I was a guessing man, I would say 140. It definitely has a wide view.

If it says PTM, then that's an upgrade. You bought the boat through ProMarine right? Does it say how much the mirror cost?

The Axis standard mirror is CIPA as far as I know.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, it was certainly an upgrade, just don't know to which mirror. 100 or 140? Hope the 140.

Knowing Thomas, it's the 140 with the billet aluminum.
