Great.Thanks! I actually talked to Malibu on the phone this afternoon and they told me that my dealer would be able to answer that question the best. Funny. He did tell me that if your planning to keep the boat for a long time, that the closed cooling would provide the best protection for the engine.

Sweet color combo btw. If your not in saltwater there is no need for a closed cooling. No real advantage other than your heater works better if you have one.

so true. When I was first looking at buying an Axis I was looking at a bare bones model hoping to be in the 50K range. But, thanks to the wife we went balls out and ordered a Vandall. She wasn't having it unless it had the tricked out trailer. Then she saw the Vandall graphics on our color choice and was sold! I wasn't real into the Vandall graphic at first but its really grown on me. We heard this week that our boat sprayed on Feb 21, so were hoping to have it in about 3 weeks. Her thought was its a whole lot easier to right that check every month when you have exactly what you want sitting in your driveway and not bare bones with a mile long list of upgrades your gonna do. I love projects but, I am pretty stoked to just have it all done and ready to enjoy.WooHoo!!!

Have you got a spray date yet?

Yeah! Our Spray date is March 24. There is a gentleman from the Malibu crew going for his spray date that is the 23. He said he can grab some pics for me! So stoked. Temperatures are going to be warming up here next week thank god! Spring is coming i can feel it! Hoping to have the boat third or forth week in April!
