I cannot see needing to replace cap wires and rotor at 100hrs? Maybe the plugs but not the other stuff. I would be at the dealership talking to someone or on the phone direct with Indmar. I will say mine does the same thing as far as the delayed start but it's not enough to warrant any work. I have 115hrs on mine and will be replacing that stuff this off season but in my own garage.

Good luck!!!!!

Ya replacing all that stuff is an excuse to get your money, that should have been covered under warranty. I'm not surprised though, you use the same dealer that jacked up my prop seal, they will never again see my boat..........unless a miracle happens and they wake up, I'm not holding my breath

If you ever have the boat in midland call me and we can hook it up to a fake a lake and I'll help you look at it, the extended crank is either fuel or spark, we just need to figure out which and what's causing it. I would stop out there at nasworthy but I usually go to Alan Henry.

Same here - mine does the same thing as far as the delayed start but it's not enough to warrant any work either. The 2012 ECMs have an autostart feature so you dont have to hold the key over (max started run time of 15sec). I wonder if Indmar has a tradeup program.

It may also just be the nature of the beast, you know the computer in these boats has one set program that doesn't rely on any O2 signal to run and the differences in barometric pressure and altitude play a significant role in how each starts and runs. A custom tune for your conditions may be what it takes to solve this issue. I'm curious if the catalyst models that do run O2's have similar cranking characteristics as the standard engine.....

No service or warning lights. It really seems like its not getting enough fuel at start? Ive tried different fuels--same..

mine has done it from day one, sounds like typical gm fuel pump. i work in the auto industry and not saying they are the same thing but gm pumps are know for the check valves going bad causing long starts. it aggervated me at first but i think i read in the manual that it says you need to prime it a few times before you start it which tells me its normal for it to loose pressure. so as long as mine keeps starting (eventually) im going to let it be. and i always use the blower never turn it off unless im just hanging out. just my 2C

If you're around the lake on Saturday I'll stop by if I can find your place
