hmm I could have sworn this worked with my sgs4...but maybe it was my buddies iphone plugged in not mine. Now i'm going to have to double check.

Yea, pretty chitty thing about the galaxy (the only thing in IMO) but it's a big one with me... All these usb plugs seem to be wired for Apple and they don't use a standard like the Samsung does.
I guess in the end it's crappy on the stereo manufacturers to cater to Apple and not the rest.
