Mine is an '11 as well but it's a 140. A buddy of mine has been using it and he likes the way it rides. He's going to put the fins back on next time out to see which feels better.

If your ever in doubt of your size board always go bigger. Softer landings and usually more pop. I am 6' 4" 225 and try to ride nothing less than 145cm

if you switched up im almost positive the Murray will let you surface switch supper easy. what speed do you ride? if your just getting used to surface switching I would stay slow, a mousetrap/ scorpion are much nicer at 16-18 vs 21-23 which is usually the speed I take them at lol

you will love it Im sure, just be aware that its going to feel a little loose when your just standing not moving but as soon as you edge and lock those fins in its going to stick. after you get over the paranoid awareness from having something new you won't even notice it

I ride at about 20mph, might bump it down till I get a feel for the board.

Which boots are you using? I just ordered the '12 Parks bc I found a really sweet deal. I had been using the Teams but the laces weren't staying tight and started to get looser and looser after every jump.

I dropped my speed from 22mph to 20mph when I first strapped on the new board. It only took a few sets to get used to the feel since everything is basically better with the Murray (pop, landings, edging, lighter weight, etc).

Also, it helped me to start out flat, stay flat, and just let the boat pull you sideways while it's planing out. That way you have some time to understand the feel of switching back and forth and leaning properly when you do your surface spins at slower speeds. Plus, you'll still have plenty of time and energy to get a full set in.
