I picked up one of the drain plug lights they were talking about on wakeworld, it was 145$ shipped, I didn't want to drill any holes in the boat is the main reason I'm trying this one, bad thing is it casts most of the light to the rear which points right at my FAE, so we'll see how it works under water, I'm not expecting it to be great but it's not like I'm out at nite in the water much anyway....

That's pretty bright though... i bet it does OK for ya, as long as the water isn't too turbid.

If I were out as much as you guys and had easy access to the water I'd have way more lights. You guys are lucky!!

It actually did much better than I expected, I got it from http://www.BoatLightsUS.com
I got the white 8 watt max beam and used a 10$ off code somewhere on wakeworld, the shadow in the middle is my FAE, I could swim out and still see light on me 15-20 feet away, worked good for seeing fish.

Walter those look as good if not better then the underwater LEDs that came from the factory, they are about the only things on the boat that I was a little disappointed by. My next Axis is getting after markets for sure.

Did you wire it to a switch or is it on all the time?

The boat was pre wired for the lights, in the back ski locker there was a black and a blue set of wires zip tied up to the harness, they come on with the interior lights

And it's just one light right in the middle behind my FAE, screwed into the drain plug hole

It's no where near as bright as AJ's but it got the job done for me
