Jayman, Did you get your sacs yet? Did you end up going with the 750's ?

I have the rev 410s and it is seriously heavy. I cannot take the tower down myself without using some supports I made. Even then it's tricky but luckily I don't have to take it down much. If I had to do it more, I'd be looking for a better way. The worst part is the speakers are so wide, it doesn't give you any real space to grab the top tube of the tower, even in the middle.

The space between is my biggest concern Ferral. I drop the tower on my brother in-law's SAN 230 w/rev410s and the weight is not unmanageable, but there is a lot more room to work. Guess I'll figure something out!

Yeah, my problem is that I can't even get one hand between them. But the other problem is once you are supporting the weight, it's impossible to manage the side supports. So I just cut a 2x4 a little too long and notched the top, rounded the bottom. That way I can release one side and put the 2x4 in the middle. Since its a little long I can wedge it in and use it to lift the main bar while I release the other side. Then I made a base to support the tower when lowered. Otherwise the 410s sit on the seat.

Hey guys, I'm picking the boat up next month from the dealer. It's wrapped up and put away right now but will be lake ready soon! It's basically all I can think about. I have heard how heavy the rev410s are so just assumed it would be a 2 person job. Can't wait to hear how they sound.

Johnny, I'll be using the 750s. I also have 2 tube sacs (370+ ea) that I can throw around if needed. I know I'll want a little more weight up front and might use the other on top of the seat for surfing.

What prop have you got on your a20? 5 blade? My 2013 Australian a20 come with an acme 1235 4 blade? Just brought a 4 blade 2079 acme from states? I'm curios about your 5 blade though

Bdheinr, here is a pic that shows the gap between the rev-410s. If you are somehow above the tower, you can grip the top par pretty well right by the tow point. But when the tower is overhead, my arm does not fit between the speakers to grab that spot. Boat is in storage right now so I can't show you what my support looks like.

Ya Tassie, I went with the 5 blade/OJ cinco prop. I have heard and read a lot of great things about it on this forum and on wakeworld.

Officially picked it up from the dealer yesterday! I have been waiting anxiously.. And I'll have to wait a little longer since its snowing here today and won't see warmer weather probably for the next couple weeks. Well worth it though.

When I picked it up they actually had just received a fresh shipment of three new A22's. I should have snapped a pic but my boat was all I could think about. We lowered the tower after we got it home last night and the rev410s are pretty heavy. Mainly just awkward finding a good place to grip the tower, but I won't be doing it solo so not too worried. Can't wait to get through the break in and finally take a set!
