The halogen lights work well for the price but the HID work way better and are a lot more efficient.

When I installed them I just drilled and tapped the tower. If you order the HID you have to call and specify the non isolated mounting post.

I had the hid lights on a quad of mine they are sick ....

divebomber1 .... that's a nice set up any night time pics ?

Nice divebomber1! Seems like you are in Ottawa... I'm in Gatineau... do you ever go on the Ottawa river? I would love to see those running.

Gonna install mine tomorrow! Nice brackets. Are you powdercoating them the same as the tower?

Yes don't get caught and use glow sticks on your riders!

Rigid is the best LED lightbar period. They were a up and comer back in the day when I was into sandrails and they've made a name for themselves back then. I really want to try one for my Axis as well but I'm afraid of it just becoming a $1400 glare. I don't think it's possible to a really good forward facing light. Rear facing for surfing at night... not an interest to me particularly.

It cost me $350 and worth it. It's a spot in the middle and floods on the outside. No glare I assure you.
