Is it drain the engine OR run antifreeze through, either one? If so, which way is better?
If I can get away with draining only, can someone tell me where exactly all of the plugs and hoses are that I will need to remove (including the heater hoses)?

I have a 2011 Vandall, and this is my first time winterizing a V-Drive.... on my old boat (nautique direct drive) I replaced all of the drain plugs with valves... I could "winterize" it in about 5 minutes by opening 5 valves and removing one hose. I try to ride thoughout the winter, so if I could get the new boat set up like this, it would be sweet... anyone done this or have suggestions?

did you ever get your answer to this? I paid the dealer to do mine, since I had some warentee work that also needed to be done. But It was quite exspensive I thought.

I know there are 2 freeze plugs on either side of the block, but what else should I do before the freezing temps?

Or did you run anti-freeze?

So I decided to bring this back up. I will pay for someone to winterized my boat as it is stored outside at the marina storage. How do you guys feel about the shrink wrap covers my dealer claims they put silica gel in the boar and they r fine. Dealer also claims it can last up to 4 seasons. Any of you have experience. I'm worried about smelly mold bacteria and moisture problems. I called the mastercraft dealer and the centurion dealer I use to install audio for. They both do not recommend sealing off the boat. I just want to know anyone's experience as I can shrink wrap it myself. I do stuff like this at my job now.
