I never go over 45mph towing anywhere from 2-6 miles. However, if it's windy out I'll take it down. Of course my friend who had his Axis for a year before he sold it used to tow his 55mph all the time from his house to lake...about 4-5 miles

I've towed with my bimini up alot and have never had a problem. When I brought mine home from the dealer it was up and I towed it 45 miles at 70mph. I wouldn't worry about it.

I have a Z5 to sell if you are interested and it can be towed at any speed. It is very durable and provides a ton of shade on the boat.

I want a Z5 but I don't like the price and I think it might sit too low for my liking.

I will never tow with the Bimini up or the cover on, just trying to keep Murphy at a good distance, that and I had enough mishaps last summer with the whole rig.

Walter, I feel you on the cover. I towed my boat 3 hrs with the cover and it rubbed cloudy spots in a dozen or areas to the point I had to buff it out (my boat is black). I'm Only scared about a rock hitting my windshields.

I tow 45 min at 65-70 and haven't had any issues with cover. It would be nice if they had a support in the bow as the cover tends to dip low under tow in that area.
