How does the speed control go in the axis compared to perfectpass gps? Does it ever speed up when driving double ups or sharp turns?

I think it is much better than the PP in my last boat, but that is probably more due to the fact my last ride was an I/O.

I never have to take very tight turns (like for small rivers) but my turns aren't wide either and I've never had an issue with the speed control doing anything I didn't like or expect. It may slow down a couple mph and then resume but it's not jerky or unexpected. I like how it works since turns are usually relax time for me. I've done a few double up passes for friends and it did fine...they never complained about speed inconsistencies and did their desired tricks

Mine gets a little crazy on really sharp turns when its dumped. I have found that the trick is just to turn it off before the turn and back on about half way around it!

It holds the speed very well. I consistently ride in a river where I turn sharp and the boat does an awesome job of tracking and holding speed.

I never noticed any issue in tight turns. we ride in a slough that is really narrow.

I've had it screw up a couple times when we've done tight turns when we didn't feel like driving a double up. The boat will suddenly think it's going SUPER slow and continue to floor it til you manually throttle it back. It whipped my buddy up to 35-40 once while he was riding when that happened. Now, we just try to avoid scenarios where a super tight turn is warranted...

My friend's Moomba does that in tight/medium turns with the Moomba digital cruise they use. You have to cut to the inside to avoid getting whipped out. Doesn't make for resting during the turn...which I like to do.

No I mean it literally kept accelerating and never stopped. The rider was in the middle but the boat took him up to 35-40 and we had to manually back off on the throttle. Was kinda scary...

Never had that issue of taking the rider to warp speed
