So yesterday after running the boat for about 30mins and then sitting for 4-5hrs with the radio on the boat started to act up. On my way back to the dock the boat was way down on power... hardly get and stay on plane. With anything more then 30% throttle the boat would act like it was running on 5cyl and backfire back through the intake.
No service light or beeps or anything have come up.
I am on the same tank of gas that I used a few days ago when the boat ran perfect... nothing has changed. But the boat does have 188hrs on it now.

I have recently just encountered this problem also. Everything was running fine for thirty minutes, and then all of a sudden i lost throttle power and the boat began to backfire. Had to move everyone to the front there was only 6 of us to plane off. Thought it was badgas possibly so i siphoned all of the gas out put some fuel cleaner and put the boat back in. Only to turn the key and find that the boat will not crank now. I am going to call the dealer in the AM. Not a very happy camper right now. Did you find out why your boat was doing this? I have only put 45 hours on mine got it in June.

Not an Axis owner and researching this company thats why I'm here...my Bro-in-law purchased the first version of the Sky Supreme and we ran into this same problem the first season...we finally found that when the ballast was full water would get into the breathing valve on fuel fill line...when it started sputtering we would pull of the full filter empty out the water refill the filter and put it back on...not saying this its the same problem but you might want to take a look at the fuel filter.

Fix for mine was to replace both fuel pumps, and the filter regulator. Which I did myself... have you tried putting a fuel pressure gauge on it?
