Hi,
when searching for surf gate issues, lots of time the surf gate calibration is mentioned. And it seems to help in some cases. But I was not able to find information what exactly that does. Obviously it retracts both gates with intervals of motor activation until finished is pressed.
Does it measure something or what? What exactly is calibrated by doing this?

It just fully retracts both gates. Sometimes they get hung up and don't fully retract. The calibration attempts to fully retract them.
