Just out of curiosity and to see the difference state to state how much are you guys paying for your insurance, and how much coverage do you have?

Mine is total replacement cost, up to 55,000 and 5000 for accessories plus comp and collision and personal injury and all that other stuff. 48$ a month through progressive, single policy, my cars and home are through nationwide.

Mine is insured in CA through westmar. I pay about 600 a year and have total replacement for five years (doesn't matter the cost of the new boat). My deductible goes down every year also.

Total replacement: Annual Premium: $690.00 in VA. This reminds me, that I need to redo this. When I purchased the boat I was in a hurry to get the insurance docs and accepted the fact the phone agent was clueless. "This is setup as a Yacht because thats the only option for an inboard over 20 foot".

If anyone would like a quote in the following states, please send me a message: Missouri, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, & Kentucky. I own an insurance agency here in Missouri as well as my A22 Axis :-)

Thanks,
Seann

No problem man, I was just curious and from the looks of it most of us are paying fairly close to the same annually, but it never hurts to bring something like this up and save some people $$$ by bundling everything together, you never know until you ask. Now there are a bunch of other members who haven't replied yet, let's hear your rates. Good or bad, let's get some comparisons going

I have always used boaters insurance for all my promo boats. Went down a HUGE amount from USAA. I will never use USAA for boat insurance again. I was paying $140 a month for a 1983 Ski Nautique in 2000-2003..
