Looking for a little help. Received the new rub rails for my 13 a22. The old ones came off easy enough. Any tips or tricks from the guys that have put new ones back on? ThanksImage

No the corners have caps that go on after. The issue seems to be that the new rails are very stiff and don't seem to want to go over where the two hull pieces meet. May need to go get a beat gun to get them to loosen up a bitImageImage

Yes you will need a heat gun to get plastic to form how you want just don't get it too hot

I tried to replace one a few weeks ago and didn't succeed. I snapped the old one back on and have not tried it again. I've heard to let the new rub rail sit in the sun awhile before installation. When I attempted it was a cool, cloudy day out and I plan to try again soon. I'd like to know what works for you.

Got the back one on!! Takes a heat gun and more than a few beers!! The sides I need a buddy to help with they are way to long.

Ordered them from the dealer, got them to pay for half and eat the shipping.

Would think that a softer rubber would work better, they are more like a hard plastic

@bagdragger do you plan to drill new holes in your boat to secure them? I don't see any other way. I'm not too excited about drilling in the boat, even though it'll be hidden by the end/corner caps. The long side piece is the only one I'm replacing. Glad to hear you're making progress with it.
