That's pretty cool. My dog would be freaking out.

I taught my girls the same way to get up on the board.

My wife has trained our dog (~35lbs) to stand on his hind legs and balance for a minute on a surfboard...it is pretty legit

I'm looking for pictures. I know some friends have some snaps of it. I usually drive, so I don't have anything on my own phone. The best I could find was an image of here holding the dog and getting him set.

It takes a little work to help him get his rear legs balanced... but once he is there he can hold it. He will fall into her front leg some and push off a few times...then he gets tired/bored and sits back down.

There has been a bunch of rain here. It has been a while since we got to go spend a whole day on the water and have fun. It has taken a while to another picture. Here is one with Luke (the dog) and Chris (my wife) surfing. Luke rides like that for some amount of time. It is really up to him. Sometimes he is cool with riding it out a while. Sometimes he wants nothing to do with it. This particular time he rode quite a while; till the rollers came. I would guess around .25 miles.

Do you have any video? My dogs would never do that. They are too wild.
