Stereo sound pack 2 vs Sound pack 3

I have put in an order for a 2017 T23. Wanted input if the upgrade of 1300,00 to stereo sound pack 3 is worth it?

how does it affect headroom on the tower

Well figure it this way, one REV410 is $1199.99 each. With SP3 you got 2, and a 12" sub, better amps, and the transom remote for $100 more...So yeah.

You'll have less headroom on the REV410's than the ICON8's as they are 10" vs 8" speakers

I bought off the lot so didn't have a choice. SP2 is good. But really wish I could have gotten SP3. can't beat 410s!

they are quoting me 1400.00 upgrade to the Rev410 and amp etc. not 100.00 more. am i reading that correctly.

The 100$ more is the difference between the cost of a single 410 ($1200) and what you originally listed as the difference between sound pack 2 and sound pack 3. The point was that because the increase from pack 2 to pack 3 was so close to the regular price of one of the 410s, that the decision to move from pack 2 to pack 3 was an easy yes.

$100 is not the cost to upgrade.

so it sounds like the cost for the upgrade just on the speakers is $400.00 and then they add an upgraded or addition amp and better sub. so total is 1400.00 and it also sounds to me that this upgrade is worth it?

dollar wise SP3 is a good buy.

The only reason NOT to get SP3 (and I'm in this category) is if you have to fold the tower regularly. I have to fold my tower to put my boat away. I have SP2. The tower is heavy as fawk with just the icons. I cannot imagine doing it single-handed with the 410s. Pretty sure I'd kill myself.

Even with the bigger shocks the tower comes with when you order it loaded up?

Axis towers come with shocks to assist in lowering now? Since when?
