I have searched the forum and got mixed results on which prop to get with these new gearing ratios. What is the opinion of those of you that have had more time with your boats. Mine currently has the 1235 and I'm not too happy with it. Seems like it has a hard time. Takes everything the boat has to get it up to wake board speeds when the factory tanks and the pnp bags are full. I can't even attempt to put the wedge down and get it to plane out. Can't get it to 12 mpg with wedge down. It only runs about 36 with the 1235 prop with wot. I do have to travel some to get to my spots so I hate to give up much more top end, but I want to not feel like I have an underpowered boat everytime we go do any wake boarding. We normally only have around 5-6 people on the boat. We're at 360 feet above sea level and I have the 350 pcm motor. I'm really regretting not getting a bigger motor, but have to work with what I have. I'm ready to order a new prop asap so I can get out and enjoy the lake but just can't pull the trigger on which one. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks

I'm surprised your boat came with that prop. My 2016 A20 came with the 2249 which is 15x14.25 .105 cup and I also have the 350, the prop did ok with 2800lbs ballast but would not plane out with that weight and wedge down. I tried a 2313 15x12 .105 cup and still no go with that much weight and wedge plus the RPM'S jumped up about 300. I settled with a 2773 15x13 .105 cup. RPM'S came back down and it's much stronger than the 2249.

My T22 came with the 1235 and was was not happy with that prop and I second guessed myself on the engine as well. I ran an OJ 948 and currently run a 2247(same as 2249 only a bit more cup) and I have been pretty happy. The OJ 948 was a pretty good all around prop but all we have been doing lately is surf and the 2247 keeps the rpms down. With both props I can run full ballast and plane out for wakeboard.

I have also recently acquired a 2016 t23 but mine has the 409 motor. It has the 1235 prop and I haven't played around with the weight to much as I am still in the break in period. I usually ride at an elevation of 2700-3000ish. What prop do you think would benefit me the most. We wakeboard probably 70% of the time and surf the rest. I have 750s in the rear and the 650 in the bow along with the stock ballast. The only time I would really need more top end speed is when we go to Lake Powell once or twice a year.

I called and talked to oj props today. I guess I'm going to demo the 945 and see how that performs. Anything is going to be an upgrade from what I have. I will be taking the boat down to the lake in the next week or two. At least if I don't like it I can trade it in and try a different one. Is the OJ 945 the same as the Acme 2773?

You will love the OJ945 I run it on my 16' T23. Comparable to the Acme 2315.

It should be close they are both 15x13, not sure what the cup is on the OJ though. The Acme is .105

I'm around 3900 @23mph , 2800lbs ballast and no wedge. A20 though.

Even if you have some traveling to do, I think the 2313 is worth it. Plus, when you're cruising the motor is barely working so it doesn't burn much fuel. I had the 2313 on a 2015 T23 all year (newer gear ratio) and loved it and it did great on gas!
