Normally I already have my boat in the water by mid March. This year I haven't even cleaned my boat up yet. I have a ton of weddings to go to this month and I am going to Puerto Rico for a week on vacation. I doubt I will get my boat in the lake until mid May. It sucks.

Lets hear it from the people that has been on the lake already? Also I want to hear reviews on the new gear you picked up over the winter.

Went out for about an hour yesterday. Wayyyy to windy but I surfed for a little bit. Water temp was 58. Had a wet suit bottom and heater top on. All 2mm. Chilly but doable.

Pretty much year round boating for me. Went out yesterday, going out today because it's going to be in the 80's and water is 67. The most I've gone this year (including Oct, Nov, and Dec) without going on the boat was 3 weeks. That's one great thing of living in the middle of Texas.

Water is in the 40 degree range in Wisconsin. I've tried to get out, but I'm having some engine temperature issues. Feels like by the time I get out I'll not need the drysuit that I purchased this winter.

Went out last weekend for 4-days. It was the first time since January. Much warmer this time with air in the mid 80s and the water a brisk 64. the 2014 A22 dragged boarders from about 9 AM to around 5 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and from 8 to 11 on Sunday. With modest lunch breaks, we burned about 32 gallons per day and the boat remains a flawless towboat. The ballast was stock plus 750s in the back and the arrow sack in the front. Wakeboard setup full ballast, no wedge 21 mph. Surf setup full ballast, wedge down 11.2-ish mph 3 or 4 in boat. Wakeboard was a couple of runs for less than an hour, then all surfing the rest of the day.

I am jealous of you all. Surprisingly the wife hasn't hounded me this season to get on the lake. I think I may break it out on April 16th. The wife is out of town next weekend or else I would. It gives me two weeks to get it ready. I need to clean it up and put the ballast bags back in it.

I have actually fished more lately that normal. We have been tearing the crappie up lately. One of my wakeboard buddy's owns a small aluminum v bottom boat. It's been pretty fun and we are still waiting for the lake level to rise to normal pool.

I have been out 5 times the last 3 weeks. Today the water temp was in the 60s low 70s.

Nope. :(. Supposed to snow this weekend too. I guess it's probably for the better since I'm still neck deep in winter projects on the boat. If the weather was nicer I'd want to be out on the boat versus working on it in the garage.

Bring on Summer!!
