So title says it all.. I have the 1100 lb bags and they start to piss overboard when they are probably only 2/3 full? And secret to getting them to fill all the way up? All the lines are stock except the rear drain lines have been turned and shortened.

Thank Brad

Anyone? Mine can't be the only one to do this?

It does it to all the 1100's due to the weight of the water pushing down. The compartment width makes the bag fill upward as it gets about 3/4 full. Then it reaches a point that the weight of the water pushing down is too great and pushes water out the drain and over the side. That's why in several posts about the 1100's we have said they don't fill all the way. That's why I've said in many of my posts that I went with Sumo 900's because they fill full and hold just under 1000lbs whereas the 1100's don't even hold 1100 when fully expanded, much less when 3/4 full in the Axis. Maybe a ball valve on the drain line somewhere to keep the water from being pushed out? More people go with the 900's vs the 1100's. In my opinion theres no advantage of 1100's over 900's given the actual weight the 1100's don't hold

AJ thanks for the feedback. The bags where there when I bought the boat so I didn't select them or I would have reserved it better. A ball valve on the drain sounds interesting but I would be worried about how to tell they where full other than watching them...

And I struggle to understand how a 900 lb bag would hold more water than the 1100 when in the same compartment? I would think the force would be the same gallon for gallon and cause the same problem in either bag at the same volume.

I understand what you're saying but my Sumo 900's fill solid. I mean you can slap them and feel they are full and not air. There's a long time member on Wakeworld that did a test on just about every common size Fly-high, Sumo, and Ronix ballast sack. He had access to a commercial scale and filled each sack to its capacity on a pallet then weighed the sack. Fly-highs came in underweight in all but a couple whereas Sumos held more than advertised. All sacks were photographed in the test. Now why the Sumo 900 fills all the way solid and the 1100 doesn't I don't know. To much physics going on there for my little pea brain.

Really I don't think there is much physics involved... I mean there is but I don't see how bag size matters when in reality you are constrained by the compartment. Wish someone made custom bags for my boat as you could run water up under the rear seat as well pretty easy.

Wakemakers will make you any size sack you want. On their website they show you how to take the measurements

Johnnydefacto made a thread on here where he ran electric normally closed valves on his drain lines, he wired them up to the drain pumps so while he's filling the bags the valves stay closed and keep all the water in until draining

I found that that thread but I don't think my issue is the drain line but the vent line.. I have tried to find the stock line routing diagram for my boat with no success anyone have it?
