Has anyone made something temporary that doesn't take up much room? I would like to take my mother out on the lake sometimes or some other relatives and I know a few of them will have a hard time getting onto the platform.

I just ordered this ladder...it isn't temporary, but my family is really missing a ladder like our old boat had.

I'll write a review when I get to install it.

Don't know if you ordered your boat but you could've ordered it with a Malibu ladder. You can add one as well. You can order a ladder and new platform pad, remove platform pad, install ladder, cover with new platform pad.

I'm sure that one in the link should work. Probably need to use lag bolts. I'd just be worried about it pulling through since it's not installed from the top. However, if you're just letting the ladies use it and not a 200+ guy I think you'll be good with no worries

How difficult is it to remove the platform pad? I'm sure they use some very strong glue.

when you are just sitting in the water swimming or whatever, then fill your rear tanks and sacks. Leave the center and front empty. This will drop your swim step very far under water, and if you have a couple adult males stand on the step, it will get that thing a foot under water... this may help until you find a good ladder set up.

I am getting my OEM ladder installed today... will post pictures tonight.

BTW -- there will more than likely be no way for you to salvage your swim pad... I had to replace the one on my Malibu when installing the ladder and the dealer already has one for the T23. They do not come up easily, even with heat.

Thanks everyone and i didn't order my boat or i would have probably got the option, I have had to fill the rear ballast only for my wife the first few times out as she had a c section a few weeks before and had problems getting on. That gerelick ladder looks nice, post some pictures once yours is installed alexandera and jdiaz. I plan to do gatorstep or seadeck this winter so I will be doing the swim platform to match when i do it.

Owe you a pic, it was late when I got home yesterday.

Looks great and does not interfere with wedge operation.

Also very interested in a ladder. I would prefer one that has nothing on top of the platform if possible and of course want zero effect on the surf wave.

Any consensus on whether the Garelick or the Malibu ladder is better? I don't mind spending more if one is much better than the other.

I found this video of the Malibu one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvrccxP4q3Y

but it comes out the side, where my Surfgate is. Can it be installed to come out the back?
