Which is better money spent?

Added ballast or different board?
Currently have 14 Axis T22 w/stock ballast tanks and additional bow ballast and Ronix Cortez board. Beginner surfers, looking to upgrade just want best bang for buck.

I would add ballast.. my wave is 2x the height with the rear bags full.

hmm.... I would do both.. :)

A better board will just make you want a bigger wake.. Either way your going to end up with more bags in the rear. I would get two 750s for the back and a new board. and just have a great time the rest of the summer.

Get both, 750-900 rear sacks and a better board. I had the first generation Cortez and hated it the first day I rode it. It's slow and pearls too easy. Don't understand why people get wakeboats without extra ballast from day one but once you get the rear sacks you'll slap yourself lol

Bags first. Then board. You will be amazed.

We received that board with our first boat purchase. There's a reason dealerships give them away  I would say do both. You can add all the weight in the world and that board will still be a first ride, never ride again board. As said before if you get a good board, you will be crazy for more weight.

Dialing in the wake is priority #1. But...I've been known to be a ballast whore.
