Set it up to mimic your trailer bunks. They are set up to give support under the stringers which is the best place.
Unfortunately, the trailer has multiple bunks that only extend about half the boat length.
The most rear located bunks are very wide -outside the step you see along the bottom of the boat when viewed from the transom.
There is a second set of bunks much closer to the midline and found inside the "step" in the bottom of the boat.
Most people only have one long set of bunks on their lift so that's where the debate arises.
So do you go really wide which is about 60" apart or 30 inches from midline or do you go with the inner bunks which puts them about 40" apart or 20" from midline.
