Post a picture or two of your fae. The extra parts comment has me worried. And no, the steering feels the same with or without the fae. This whole post has me worried about your boat.
Extra bolts/nuts/washers, I will post a pic but it looks the same as a few as the others. Exactly like the pic sent in the emailed instructions.
The instructions mention a couple different ways to install. The (2) 4" threaded bolts are extra depending on how it's done. If the T type bar (made out of square tubing and welded) is mounted on top of the wedge frame, it's clamped using the threaded rod (needing to be cut) with the welded nut. The threaded bolt is about 1" short. However, I believe if the T bar were placed inside the wedge frame and the single square tubing on top, I think the threaded bolt might work (not needing the threaded rod with the welded nut). The other threaded bolt I used on the short side of the T bar to 'clamp' the T bar to the single square tubing stock.
The steering could be because I need more weight in the nose of the boat. Its riding higher than it probably should (stock loaded + rear FH 750s and underbow sac in the front), 3 people in the back, wedge down.
