Hey guys, I just want to make an update on my water leak fix that I found. I have the all white 12' brostock boat that I had a leak that I couldn't find. Now my boat is sort of a hybrid where they installed 1 1/8" ballast hoses and pumps. Even the tanks have the bigger fittings. Anyway, the rear drain pumps have a T fitting that connects the tank drain and one of the pNP bag lines. That T fitting was for the 3/4" fittings that came stock on axis at the time. The guys just gooped on a bunch of silicone, trying to make it work. Basically, I grabbed the fitting and it pulled out of the threads with vey little effort. I then installed a 1" PVC threaded T fitting with the appropriate adapters and it cures the problem.
For those that have been back there, I was able to thread the pump straight onto the new T fitting, effectively removing one of the factory adapters. At the same time, I was able to gain quicker drain times from upgrading the factory 3/4" fitting.
It may just be isolated to my single boat because it was a special situation, but it's worth checking if you have a bad water leak.

3/4 inch fitting, 1 1/8 hose.... I guess they were in a hurry to get the boat out of the factory? That is just poor workmanship.
Good work on troubleshooting everything and tracking it down.

Yep. I sort of laughed when I saw it. Someone clearly knew it wasn't right but went for it anyway. Luckily, I enjoy working on the boat as a little get away hobby. I could definetely see how other customers wouldn't be too happy.
