So I pulled the boat out of the water a couple weeks ago and I noticed like 6ft of cracks along the side of the boat. What started as a really small crack grew to a very large from being on the boat one day. My boat is a 2014 so it is under warranty so the dealership is going to fix it. I am just worried that they are going to fix the cracks but since I am from Canada, I will not be putting the boat in the water tell next year so I won't have a chance to test it to see if the cracks come back. And by the time next year when I have a chance to test it, the one year warranty on the boat will be over so if the cracks do come back I will be stuck paying for them to be fixed. So I was just wondering if anybody else has had a problem with there gel coat cracking? I will post pictures later tonight.

I have a 2011 A22. Mine has stress cracks behind the tower on each side. It also has some behind the windshield on the driver's side.

I don't have any down the side, but I would be curious if anyone else has these issues.

I got Malibu involved because the dealership says they have seen anything that big. So we will see where it goes from there

Generally speaking, unless they think you are doing something repeatedly to cause it, they should stand behind their work. I would get it in writing that they will fix it if they come back in the spring. Any decent dealer would do that for you.

At the bottom of both pictures they're running horizontal about 6' +. Look for distortions in the image that is reflected.

Looks like the gel just cured wrong or something, hopefully it's just cosmetic and can be easily fixed
