I basically followed this thread over on wakeworld to complete this project. http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthre ... ht=trailer

I picked up two rolls of 5m 5050 led's with a ip68 waterproof rating from here

I mounted the switch and the bilge switch on the fender, and wired it so I can turn the lights on with the switch (running lights must be on) or the bilge switch can turn them on as soon as it hits water (running lights must be on). Ran the wires from the fender up inside the trailer towards the tongue and made the connections there. The led strips have 3m double sided tape on them, but to be sure, I ran a bead of clear silicone down each side of the lights. Overall it turned out great, and I cant wait for our next trip out late to see how they work!

and for good measure, I threw this led drain plug in as well...35 bucks on ebay.

Very cool! Definitely looking at doing this in the winter.

some photos from after dark tonight at the lake...they worked great, bottom left is on the ramp, trailer in the water, the other two are in the parking lot.
