The new Axis A24 is amazing!
Easily one of the best handling 24 foot V-Drives out there. Actually, one of the best handling V-Drives regardless of size. It out handles the 22 and 20 in chop and in steering. Effortless.

The wakes are equally incredible.

I was out on a demo yesterday and I am so hyped on this boat. I spent the whole day driving and riding behind an A22 and A24, and I'm still stoked.

More details. Ballast setup? Color scheme? Did you get to weight it for surfing?

Stop rubbing it in. My A24 is at the dealer waiting for me to get off this oil rig in another 8 days. I'm excited about the wake, both surf and wakeboard but mainly surf. Got a new Shred Stixx Carbon Sixer waiting as well at the Shred Stixx Chaos Shaping Shack in Austin. Sounds like you like the boat. Did the A24 you demo'd have the bow sack?

We had the Sumo 900s in each locker, and since the Straight Line A24 bow bag isnt ready yet, we used a Flyhigh integrated bow sac.

With the 350 motor and the 2315 (torque) prop it got on plane quick. With that much weight I was a little nervous about the 350, but WOW I was surprised by that motor/prop combo.

The wakeboard wake was amazing. It just like the A22/A20 in terms of shape and transition, but it was a little narrower for some reason. And I liked that. The wake was super meaty and firm. Tons of straight up pop with the wedge, and a really long transition with out it.

The surf wake was really long and super smooth. There isnt a lip to be found though. Just a long wave that is super easy to ride. Competition level riders are going to want a lip, but people that just want a long strong wave that they can spin 360s on are going to love it.

I also got my first transfer yesterday!

Thanks for the feedback. I heard if you list the boat slightly the lip will form. I ordered mine with the 410 motor. Transitions aren't important to me but I'll play with listing the A24 like normal without surf gate and then slightly list with surf gate.

We took our a24 out Tuesday and it's awesome. Unfortunately there was a bad gasket on the exhaust manifold causing a small leak so we weren't out long. We likely would have been fine but we are babying her! Wake looked very big from the boat for just factory ballast and wedge.

Haha, I told Kevin to leave my boat shrink wrapped until the 27th then he can have it rigged for me to get it on the 1st.
