Shouldn't make a difference on whether it's an A20 or 22 either, info should apply to both.
I've found this may not be the case. I have an A20, and when I was first starting out I read all the great info on here about how people were weighting their boats (mainly 22s though). I found that with same weight, same prop, relatively same conditions my A20 would not behave in the same manner. Other posts I've seen on the 20 seem to suggest that as well....very, very similar but you have to be a bit more careful on weight placement. LOL Also, on the wakepros site it lists the 2079 as the heavy weight prop specifically for the A20, all the others it lists the 2315. I believe it is because there is just less boat...it takes less weight to 'slam' an A20 than an A22. Also, because they are shorter, the front to back weight ratio starts to matter even more I believe.
As for props, from all of my experimenting ( a LOT) and reading you've got the most aggressive prop you need (assuming you're not having any issues getting on plane) unless you really want to slam it. If so, then you'd take the leap to the 2079 which is what I have ultimately landed on. It turned my 20 in to a tug boat that can haul just about any weight configuration I have thrown at it without issue. I did lose a lot of top speed and gas hurts a bit for normal riding, but worth it in my opinion.
If it matters, here is my weight set up:
Loaded Bag Lead Total Dist.%
Bow 675 320 995 32.7%
Mid 400 400 800 26.3%
Rear 1250 1250 41.1%
Totals 2325 720 3045 100.0%
