Has anyone added Tower lights? I am trying to figure out which ones would be best for the A22 just in case someone happens to fall off the back of the boat at night onto a surfboard :D

There is a thread on here with lights like those mounted on the tower that I saw. I think it was done with extremelights or one of the others.

Search tower lights. It was a pretty nice looking when done and they said they were super bright.

I'd love to surf at night but waaaay illegal in Texas and the lights would just be a dead giveaway when the game warden is out at night.

Ajwest. I read the law in Texas. It is illegal to tow a rider at night. So if you start of the deck then you were never towed by the boat. I'm not saying they won't stop you. But if they did you might have a chance.
night surfing is the best in heat of this Texas summer.

I totally agree that technically you're not being towed, however, it's also illegal to be on the platform while boat is moving. I guess you could keep the lights off until you're surfing...then the PoPo won't see you deck start lol

Illegal here in Idaho as well. Last summer at the "Boise Surf This Bash" I believe the brigade and wake9 crew ran afoul of Johnny Law, surfing at night and doing photo shoots. Something about blaring music around the campgrounds may have given them away :D

yeah it's technically illegal here in Vermont too but Lake Champlain is so big the odds of getting busted are quite small. I have been going out at night for 3 years and never had any issues. Also not really anyone to bother in the middle of the lake by Burlington so that might be another reason I haven't gotten in trouble. Guess that's one of the benefits to having a big lake. We get some pretty big waves from the wind here so nights are like the only time its super calm on Lake Champlain.
