Well, my boat is winterized and I officially have the wintertime blues. Started messing around with GoPro Studio 2.0 the other day and put this together really quick. I didn't have access to a lot of my other footage so just worked with what I had on the GoPro camera. Hope you enjoy.

Nice video. What is your boat setup (prop, ballast, wedge etc.)?

Thanks

Thanks!

Rear stock tank and 750 bag full on surf side, center tank full, front arrow bag full, and 370# tube sac on top of surf side bench seat. Only driver and 1 passenger sitting in bow on surf side. No wedge. Speed 10.6-10.8. OJ cinco prop.

The wave was better when I added sac on top of the front seats and moved the passenger to the rear corner. It definitely likes more weight in the rear especially when you start adding weight on top of the front seats.

yeah I'm getting a dji phantom for xmass and I think some of my first vids are going to be surfing since the speeds are slower, of course I have all winter to hone the piloting skills before I attempt them

^Nice! Keep us posted. I'm debating on either getting a blade qx350 or dji phantom before next season. I also bought a tube recently so I can get some better/closer wakeboarding footage.

Where you get the tube from? And how much if you don't mind? I always wanted one from epiccam.com as I thought they where very reasonably priced, not as fancy but reasonable. But with the advance ment of gopros your really don't need a big camera on the water now

I was referring to a tube (towable) so we can get whoever is holding the GoPro camera closer to the action. Using the GoPro from the boat for good wakeboarding footage just doesn't work. Those underwater housings look sweet though. I only use the GoPro at this point or I would be looking into something like that.

Haha oh yeah I have the gladiator 2 super stable and comfortable and got that bad boy on clearance ..... Not the best for adults as its super hard to flip but great for kids and filming which in my opinion are the only reason to own a tube

Ya, I picked up a single person airhead for about $50 right before the end of the season. Tried using it once for the GoPro but we were pretty rushed bc it was our last trip out. We were definitely focused more on riding than filming but will try it out again in the spring.
