Can anyone describe to me how to replace the fuel filter. Also should this be replaced once a year?
Thanks in advance

not disagreeing with you Dave, if it recommends replacing it at that interval then its probably best, but I wouldn't mess the pump or the sock unless you had a problem. Do our boats have inline filters?
****EDIT**** Ok I see what your talking about now the piece in the top of the pump assy is the inline filter correct? do they have another filter someplace down line?

Just a follow up to this, has anyone changed the socks yet? Did it make a difference?
I am experiencing a miss with full ballast and trying to pull someone. It sounds/seems to me like fuel issue. Maybe bad gas, maybe dirty filter.
Would this warrant buying the pressure regulator and filters?
