All of it great stuff. Although the Hot Sauce is amazing with water spots, I DO NOT think it lives up to its claim to add "a little wax" on each use. I like that it sprays on in a very thin mist with good coverage and wipes off easy without streaks. I went through a gallon last year. I just received a gallon of Performance Boat Candy Speed Gloss (20% off code on Wake World). I used it today for the first time and I like it better than Hot Sauce. It sprays on very light with good coverage and wiped off easily with no streaks and no hard rubbing (similar to Hot Sauce) but it felt much smoother afterwards. Plus it smells like an apple jolly rancher. I tried Hula Gnarly Water Spot Remover as well earlier this year as a sample. I found a couple areas on my boat hull under the trailer where I normally don't reach and clean all the time to compare to Hot Sauce. These were definitely hard water spots. The Hula Gnarly Water Spot Remover did remove more of the spots, however, it required two towels...one to clean and one to wipe dry. This means twice the work. Also, the Hula product sprayed thick and did not cover much are without several sprays. My friend has a 29' Baja powerboat and used about 1/4 of a full bottle of the Hula product for one day on the lake. That's just too much product. I could see using the Hula Gnarly Water Spot Remover for those hard spots you forgot about or missed but not as a daily water spot remover/detailer. You'll like the Hot Sauce...I just like Speed Gloss better only because it few smoother and more gloss after use.
Hey AJ
The trigger sprayer on Gnarly Water Spot Remover is adjustable. If you are using two towels chances are you are spraying on too much product. Try dialing down the sprayer to give a finer mist and spray about 8-10 inches away from the surface. I appreciate your input that it clean well.
