If you don't face any lake or storage restrictions I would go with the 22. I've had both and the 22 does have more space. As far as performance of the boats they are pretty similar the 20 handles better but the 22 rides better. If you are surfing you can get the wake dialed in on the 20 easier than the 22(my opinion). They both do better with plenty of bow weight. Either way you can't go wrong.

+1 wvidal. A20 handles better and the A22 rides better. 8 person crew go with the A22 for sure.

I spoke with them today on the phone (with Spencer) while I was ordering and he said he can't wait for them to offer an A24. So who knows, maybe they know something we don't know yet. Maybe a little insider info.

But make the hull a deep-v and more narrow, higher platform for surfing.

Won't do more than 6 on the A20. Love my ride and looked into a 22, but buy back was too low from dealer. I would go 22 all the way.

A22 all the way, A20 seemed so small when i looked even tho i was coming off an x2 which was 6in smaller i think
