I have the tsunami car/pad in my 2012 A22 Axis and when it gets wet it gets very slippery. I have had a number of people slip and fall or slide and slam their feet into the seat frames. Does anyone else have this issue. Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks.

Did you wash the inside of the boat with soap? Mine was like that once when I didn't rinse out the mat completely and hang it up to dry. Since then I remove it before washing and just spray it off and let it hang dry.

@ Walter. I will try that. It has been slippery from the day I got it.

Are you referring to the tatami mat? No problems with mine whatsoever.

@AJ I guess that's what I'm talking about. I thought it was called tsunami?

It was the upgrade from the normal carpet. It's not supposed to get hot or mold.

Mine gets hot only when dry, if the sun is directly on it in the middle of the summer you can burn your feet, I've done it.... Now I test it out if its dry and usually end up pouring a bottle of water on it before climbing in

Walter and I are from Texas so our tatami mats tend to get pretty damn hot still a few months out of the year. Hot enough you can't stand in one place for than a few seconds if its totally dry.

Ya. I'm from south Texas too. I didn't have that problem with it getting to hot. Just being slippery, but like you said it only did that when it was dry and mine says pretty wet with everyone getting in and out. We really don't just sit and hang out.
