I have less than 2500 miles on my trailer and 2 tires have internal separation. 90% of my towing is less than 10 miles round trip at 45mph. Oh well, gotta pay to play I guess. Discount Tire had trailer tires for $92 with lifetime warranty...not bad really.

In my experience, trailer tires just don't last that long. I'm not completely sure why, but I do know they are made differently from normal car tires because they are expected to sit for long periods without moving. If you do that with a car, many tires would develop a flat spot. Again, I suspect something about the way they are made means they can stand up to the long periods of inactivity, but can't do high mileage.
