More than likely- you are clipping the amp. I bet you will see the amp go into protect mode for a short second until volume is turned down. With in-boat speakers and sub you'll never get volume up high enough for riders to hear while wakeboarding

That amp should do well, ask your brother in law how he tunes systems. Most use a 1khz frequency generator and set up everything with an oscope, this should put everything at max output without distorting the signal and allow you to crank it up without fear of blowing something.

Thanks for your help I will. I can't wait to get my new system in he will make it jam I should be able to hear that 15" sundown when I am swimming at party cove next year.
