hey everyone, just wondering if anyone has put in the after market malibu dock lights or underwater swim lights? I ordered a pair of the 9 led malibu lights that they show as an option in the axis book. I pulled the front bow speakers out and found the wires for the lights in the front and traced them back to the rocker switch (acc). put the voltmeter on the wires and found that they are wired and hot for the bow lights. was just wondering if anyone knows if the rear swimlights were wired or not. Or if I have to run new wires to the other (acc) switch? thanks

varty22, All 2011 Axis boats are pre-wired for underwater lights. The drop should be around the underside of the transom seat step starboard cupholder. The lights are wired to the interior light toggle on the dash.

I ordered my 2010 Axis last spring with the swim lights and chrome exhaust tips. Had to get the dealer to pull some strings but got them installed during the build . The wiring harness already has the wires for this in it. The swim lights and docking lights do say malibu. I do see them on ebay occasionally.

ya I see them on ebay every few weeks but the cheepest they go for is $310-380, not cheep proud of them I guess. I found sweet tower lights, led, on bakes online.com way better than halogen. brighter, less amps, sweeter, 2 for $300.
