Ordered the boat Wednesday. My wife and I are heading to the factory in Vonore this afternoon to see what kind of color options there are. Right now, we have a tricked out scheme, Ebony with Dark Blue accents. Initially we had Dark Blue with Charcoal (my preference) or Silver (hers) stripes. I'm thinking about a solid Dark Blue boat, as well.

I'm also trying to find a picture of a Dark Iris boat, either solid or with black (seen one with white, didn't really like it), though my wife is dead set against "purple." Not sure how purple it is, I'm envisioning something that is going to be dark enough that it won't really look that purple.

For that matter, if anyone has any pictures of any solid color boats, I'd love to see them. I've seen Ebony and white, but that's it. I'd love a Charcoal boat, but I have a feeling my wife would nix that one as being too masculine.

Problem I'm running into is that there are so few pictures out there that show the kind of combos we're looking at. Lots of Ebony with brighter colors (Regal, Vapor Blue, Ex. Green, etc.), but none with medium to darker ones. I have found one picture of an A20 that is a shade of blue with Ebony - I'm just not sure if it is Dark of Vapor. From the picture, I'd call it more of a Royal Blue than Dark, but it doesn't look like the Vapor Blue - but I've never seen Vapor Blue as the base color, only the accent, so it is hard to say.

Don't sweat it. There was one just like it at the plant today. My wife likes it better with Dark Blue as the base. We are discussing solid Dark Blue or Tricked out Dark Blue/Charcoal Metal Flake. Must give the folks at Malibu a big thanks for being such great hosts to us today. Got to look at a lot of boats, and a couple of guys took a lot of time to talk to us, pull up pictures, etc.
