On my boat I run the wedge down and center tank full and it makes the pocket way longer for me.

You say that you have your front 950 sac full? Is this the PNP sac that sits under the seating area in the bow? Have you tried running with the center hard tank full?

Yep that's the mushroom bag under the bow seats. I had been running center tank empty based on what I had heard from other people. I thought the wedge made the wave steeper but shorter? From what Blaise is saying it makes it longer....I guess I'll have to play around with it.

I was told from the dealer that the underseat bow sac is roughly 435lbs. Flyhigh does make a mushroom bow sac that goes above the seats that is 950. I have the under seat mushroom sac and I add an additional 400lbs on top of the seats. I place the above seat sac sideways across the front with the chilax seat up to prevent movement (I didn't find it changed the wake by placing it surfside). It also makes changing your weight over easier because you never have to move it. I always fill the center hard tank and add an additional 400lb. sac on the side seat (surfside). This really helps roll the boat over. I also fill the rear surfside hard tank + 750lb PNP as full as it will go and no wedge. This has by far been the best set up I've found. I have a nice sized wave with a huge sweet spot. I'm not even close to the swim platform. I'll try to get some pics of my weight set up and surf wave my next time out.

This is the one I'm using and it fits under the bow. You can fill it pretty close to 100%, but your Chillax seats will be somewhat flipped up at that point.

Based on what people are saying I'm gonna definitely try next weekend with the center tank full. I'll also put the wedge down and see if that makes the pocket longer or shorter on my A20 (and wave steeper?).

I'm considering buying the 2 x 400lb bags for the side seat and bow surf side spots......I really want to beef the wave up a bit so we can have more fun with it. :)

Yeah Huddy, front sack full, center tank full, rear tank and sack on surf side full with wedge down. And double check that every drop is out of the opposite rear side... I posted a couple boring video clips a couple pages back.

My son (15) wakeboards a lot and has never surfed before. Today we went out and I filled the right tank full along with center and front tank. Dropped the wedge and on his second try he was able to drop the rope and go for a while before falling. He rode goofy foot on the right side and we had three other adults sitting on the right side. Wake looked a little washed out so I will try to fix that next time we are out, but overall he did a great job with this set up.

I've got my wave dialed in finally. I'm filling the nose sac (under the floor) 100%. I'm also filling factory ballast and a 1k surf sac in the surf side rear compartment. I drop the wedge and make everyone sit on the surf side. I usually make a few people sit up front as well on the surf side. At 10.8 mph, my wave is absolutely clean and huge, with a long pocket. Now, I do have the new platform, but I think that this setup would work with the older boats too. Main point - lots of weight up front and on the surf side up front.

Sounds good, thanks for the info! I'm glad I ordered 2 x 400lb sacs for the rear and bow surf sides. I'm gonna try this setup the next time I go out.
