I everyone. Just picked up my 2012 A22 Black on Black. Love it. kinda hard to keep clean but still a real head turner. Im kind of new to my area and dont have 10 people to put on the boat for surfing. I have the PNP ballast system in the front and back. I have read quite a few posts regarding the right ballast configiration but am wondering if anyone has got it dialed in for only having a few people on the boat. Wedge up or down? Also for all you veterans out there is anything I should be watching for or switching out? I have only had it out once.

Thanks,
K.

I have a 2011 A22 and I went through trying to figure out the same thing. With just my wife in the boat driving we fill the front pnp 80 percent full. Fill the middle hard ballast full and then fill what ever side rear full with the wedge down. This set up gives you a great wake without a bunch of people in the boat. Also speed at 10.4 seems to work for us!

Good luck

Jeff

Exactly! Works for me with a driver and flagger. If I'm lucky enough to get more people on the boat the wake gets even better but I don't change the ballast setup. Enjoy your boat!

How do you know what % each bag and hard ballast is full? How do you know when its completely full? Will it start draining out?

When completely full, it will start draining out the vent hose.
