THis year we had the automatic bilge pump quit working. Worked fine with the dashboard switch but did not come on when there was water in the bilge. Boat is 2014 Axis A22. So I figured after 12 years it deserved a new pump and I replaced it based on it probably having a failed float switch. That did not help at all.
I finally found out that there is an in-line fuse, behind the battery. I will never understand why they thought it was a good idea to have a hidden fuse, not really pointed out in the manual. Once discovered, it was simple to replace, other than all my lifejackets were in the way, and I had to climb in with only my ankles outside of the locker. I am posting this because I hope to save another owner the frustration I expderienced.

A fuse at the battery is pretty standard for the industry.
